I was given a special opportunity to review Cell Phone Treasure.  Those that know me know that I give honest, unbias reviews.  I started out with the dream to make money online but was completely clueless how to actually go about doing it.  After spending hundreds of dollars on ebooks and getting caught up in different online money-making schemes, I was left with a feeling of disappointment.  I lost time, I lost money, I lost trust.

That’s why I only blog about legitimate products that I feel are worth buying.

Now begins my review of Cell Phone Treasure.  As I write this post, I am going through the product from start to finish and will give you my impressions and insights.

What is Cell Phone Treasure?

Cell Phone Treasure is being launched by Adam Horwitz.  Adam Horwitz is the creator of Tycoon Cashflow.  Currently, Adam is just 18 years old and makes a five-figure income online.  The course allegedly teaches you how to make money with cell phones.  This product intrigues me because I am a Search Engine Analyst by day.  I manage Pay-Per-Click campaigns, shopping portal data feeds, and other various campaign platforms.

My first questions I have before diving into the product material:

1.  How can you possibly make money with Cell Phone Treasure?
2.  How do you reach customers through their cell phone?
3.  What are the costs associated with implementing Cell Phone Treasure?
4.  Is this a concept that actually makes money or are there red flags all over the place?
5.  What is the potential conversion rate and is this a lucrative un-tapped market?

This is an overview video explaining what you will learn in Cell Phone Treasure and how the course is structured.

Video 2 - The mindset you must have to accomplish your goals…
1.6 billion people have access to the internet.  4 Billion people have cell phones.  This is one of the biggest markets on earth which is why cell phones offer so much potential to make a lot of money that not a lot of people know about.  Eventually, everyone will market on cell phones.  You are on the tip of the ice berg right now.  You can be one of the few that found out before it caught on and make a lot of money.

Video 3 - What on earth do you promote/sell using cell phones?
Adam tells you where to find products to sell via cell phones.  You don’t have to have your own website, you don’t need to create a product of your own, you don’t need any technical knowledge.

Video 4 and 5 - Setting up your ******** accounts
Shows you where to go to sign up as an affiliate so you get the credit when your cell phone advertising makes sales.

Video 6 - How to get millions of people to show your ad
Adam reveals his secret cell phone advertising platform that he uses to advertise with cell phones and make money.  This is the website that will gets your message out to cell phones and will how you will make money with cell phones.

Video 7 - Here is my favorite mobile advertising platform
Adam shows you how to get started with his secret website.  This video is a brief introduction video of the website Adam uses to drive sales.

Video 8 - What all the different features on ******* are
Adam shows you where to go and what to do within his secret site.  I can honestly say that I had no clue about this information.  At this point, advertising on cell phones is starting to sound very interesting.

Video 9 - Example step-by-step process
Adam explains what your advertising message should be in order to  convert.  The language you use in your message is vital to your success when trying to make money with cell phones.  My impression of this video is a good one.  It’s a simple process that ANYONE can duplicate.  He has a solid strategy that’s easily duplicated.  Great tips.  I’m impressed - and it’s hard to impress me.

How to make additional money on cell phones as an affiliate.

Video 11 - Example step-by-step process using the call feature option
Another aspect of how to make money with cell phones step-by-step.  This method would be great for those comfortable talking on the phone.  I suck talking on the phone… I’m a face-to-face kind of guy but this method is definitely valuable and could make someone a LOT of money.

How to use video on cell phones to make money and get the most impressions and clicks while spending the least amount of money.

How to use audio on cell phones to promote products.

How to make money on cell phones by promoting songs as an affiliate.  Adam gives step-by-step tips and instructions on how he makes commissions as an affiliate by promoting various media.  Adam has tested the best bid amounts and gives you tips that can save you a lot of money in advertising costs that will add to your total profit.

How to use geo-targeting to advertise on cell phones and make additional money.  This tactic helps local businesses gain traffic and exposure.  As a result, you can become the middle-man and help local businesses find customers since only a handful of people know how to advertise on cell phones.  This technique diverges from typical affiliate marketing and can greatly drive sales and commissions for you and your client.

Video 15 - Example step-by-step process using the Search option
Not much to say.  Adam admits to not using this feature much but it does offer potential to making money on cell phones.

Video 16 - Putting the pieces together
Adam shows you his Clickbank account using his secret Cell Phone Treasure tactics.  He shows you proof that Cell Phone Treasure tactics work by viewing his Clickbank account.

Video 17 - Wrapping it up and making some money
This video is a conclusion video and an encouragement to take action… to implement Cell Phone Treasure.  The point is to implement what you learn and ultimately, to make money.

Conclusion
I learned a lot from Cell Phone Treasure.  It focuses on leveraging a specific website’s functionality to advertise on cell phones.  Adam teaches you step-by-step ways that you can be on the front-line of this new emerging advertising strategy and claim a piece of the pie for yourself.

Honest Review
The course costs around $70 bucks or so.  The actual price is irrelevant if the information inside the course can make you tons of money.  Overall, I feel that this course delivered what it promised.  Had I bought this course, I would feel confident that I would know what to do immediately to make money by advertising through cell phones.

UPDATE: December 12, 2009

I wanted to give Cell Phone Treasure a chance to see if it really made me any money.  I set up a $50 experiment.

For the date range you see to the left, I blew through that $50 in about 24 hours!  The network that Cell Phone Treasure suggests that you use definitely has the connection to cell phone users.

Let’s look at what I received for that $50 ad spend and what I got in return.

I essentially got 818 very cheap $0.06 per “touch” from iPhone users.  You’ll notice the low CTR also.  I imagine that low CTRs are expected with cell phone advertising.  The bottom line is, I spent $50 and didn’t make a single sale from this experiment.  That’s not to say advertising on cell phones is a waste of time!  After all, where else can you get $0.06 per click now-a-days?  If you can find a product that converts well, you will be in good shape.

I don’t own an iPhone so I am not even sure what my ad would have looked like on one or how it’s functionality works after someone clicks thru.

The product I was promoting was an affiliate product.  Had I promoted an iPhone application, my results may have been very different.

Ultimately, I believe that advertising on cell phones is an avenue worth pursuing but expect to go through a trial-and-error process.  The ultimate question you need to ask yourself is “What product will people buy through their cell phone?”  If you have the answer, then you need to check out Cell Phone Treasure by clicking the link below.

You may want to know about another Cell phone Money Making course.  It’s by Mack Michaels - the creator of Maverick Money Makers.  His system is called Cell Phone Cash.  His ad copy on his sales page looks like a COMPLETE rip-off of The Clickbank Code’s ad copy.  It tells you that making money is so easy to do and you will be mad after discovering the truth… blah blah blah.  The fact is, making money online is NEVER easy.  It requires a lot of work, the right work, and doing it consistently.

Nevertheless, you may want to check out Cell Phone Cash.  I havn’t reviewed it but it might be worth buying.  If you buy it and find out it’s totally worthless, you can always get your money back.
