As far as I can see this bastard Luke Jaten is a scam. I not only paid for the CDs itself but an extra $250.00 for the affiliate program which was available around October and November of 2008. I was told I would receive a letter along with some pertinent information in the mail that would allow me to make use of the affiliate program and guess what, I received nothing. I called weeks later and I was told that the affiliate program was still in development because of some difficulties Luke was supposedly having in trying to get it to work efficiently. My regret is that I was too patient and bought their words that the affiliate program would be ready in a few months. I waited it out and decided not to cancel but once several months had passed and I tried calling them to get a refund rather than having to wait any longer I got nothing but an answering machine after calling time and time again. I left many messages but never got a reply. I kinda gave up after calling so many times for months on end(03/09-10/09) and decided at the time to just forget the whole thing like a bad nightmare. A couple months later I started calling customer service again just to see if there would be someone who would answer the phone when I called. When someone by the name of Nick answered my hopes were renewed that I might be able to get my money back but this soon came crashing down when he said that the database from the past year had been completely emptied and therefore retrieving my transaction records was something he could not do. The only solution Nick had was for me to e-mail Luke wherein he would flag my message as urgent because apparently Luke has all his e-mail pre-screened. Since then(about three months ago) I've e-mailed Luke more than once and called the customer service line on multiple occasions and still I've yet to receive a reply. This is not an opportunity given it's theft, simple as that. If anyone would like to contact me my e-mail is unsettled9@yahoo.com

Bravo! I liked what Admin and Richard had to say-- an articulate Postcard Profits overview, and great advice; "Nut up, or shut up"! And stay focused on the positive!

Yes, it does take a bold stroke and a modicum of work to bring in the rewards. Everything not only has its learning curve, it has its 'earning curve' too! Nothing worthwhile is achieved without some sweat equity--90% perspiration and 10% inspiration. Taking action with some enthusiasm is what is required to be successful in this ‘work the plan and the plan will work’! It's about make-it-or-break-it.

Any home business concept, especially direct marketing (or any entrepreneurial endeavor for that matter) takes consistent focus and making a strong effort in the beginning to lay the foundation. One must be self-willed and self-guided; most people need to be directed and told what to do. If that's your case, learn to tell yourself what to do and follow-through on a given schedule of tasks. We can sit and write all day long psycho-analyzing other's motives, or searching around for a phone number trying to recoup dollars (which is fine- to each his own) or we can apply the principles and give the course a real try. If canceling is your only foreseeable option but returning the merchandise doesn't prompt a refund, then file a dispute with your bank after showing proof of your RMA (a postal confirmation tracking #) and insure your refund that way.

I purchased the Postcard Profits course recently and went through the entire course and TOOK NOTES - there you go, Richard! This made the information sink in better and brought to mind questions for Jaten or Support or whomever. And I DID send about four emails to Support@postcardprofits.com with several questions and each and every one was answered. It appeared to me that some of them were answered by Luke Jaten. I also paid for the course up front to receive the 27 products CD along with the course. They're actually pretty good products (informational material.) Of course, there are needed set-up support systems like the 800 # and the call and fulfillment centers but in the beginning you'll be the order-taker as a part of the test run etc. and the others can be set up as needed.

Finally, it will take good research and you must stay motivated and marshal yourself in moving to the next task or step in your process, as if you were being coached by the company (which is expensive.) The coach has the newbie following directions, performing the steps each day, all day for several days, in the 'postcard profits school'. Taking the initiative to follow the steps outlined in the course and due diligence are what will bring significant rewards...and for my part, this is all worth the work and the risk-taking, because the only B-O-S-S is Me!

Listen everyone, a program like Postcard Profits, like any work at home info course, has a certain learning curve. Some people can get it handled within the 30 day trial, some cannot. some have different questions than others. I am about to launch my first project and yes, quite honestly it does require some cash to do this. However all the info on the audio course is valid and good and very straight forward. I have read on these posts that the course wasn't interactive enough. Thats easily solved. If you want 'interactive' then get a pen and paper and take some notes. there, problem solved.additionally, This program requires a bit of 'nut up or shut up.' Yeah it's scary sometimes to go into business for yourself but that is what makes it rewarding. Your boss isn't trying to give you info on how to do something. If you do the research and run the numbers the way Luke says to in the course than you will see in plain math what you should expect and when. Luke even puts out there that there's the chance your first project might fail due to lack of experience and that you would end up eating the cost of the postage and printing of the postcards. he doesn't hide that. and as far as the complaints go when it comes to refunds and returns, think of this.....Luke obviously made the postcard method work cuz you all bought it. So that means that it works. You just gotta stop whining. I was skeptical too but all that is is a lack of vision. I always have an aprehension as well but I am taking my time, doing my research and with the proper details set up I will end up being successful and you all will be writing bad reviews about me. remember there's no such thing as bad press. all this negative attention just deteriorates your mental attitude. Luke Jaten does just fine. You can too. Nut up or shut up.

This post provides a platform to discuss Postcard Profits. If you did your research, you would see that I am not the only one that thought Postcard Profits was decent. The things I don't like about Postcard Profits: Not interactive - it's just a 10 course CD set of Luke Jaten talking. Second, the price tag - too expensive. Third, product has SERIOUS shipping issues - never ships on time or not at all. Fourth, you have to develop a product to sell - a problem for most.

In theory, the course is good and I still stand by what I said about it being better than most courses out there today. Thanks for your two cents but you have to realize that I'm an independent. I'm not going to plug Luke Jaten's product to make it sound good and I'm not going to stand by and ignore people stating they have problems with it. Think what you want about me but either way, people searching for information about Postcard Profits can find some of it here - good or bad.

You sound to me like an affiliate of his that's upset by my review. Well I say too bad because unlike most affiliates, I don't censor my blog by picking and choosing which comments to keep and which comments to delete that don't agree with me or my views.

I have recieved my package and didn't seem to like it. You have to call and get a RMA number from the company to let them know you are canceling it and sending the package back the RMA stands for RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION the code is 30292 for mine not sure if everyone is the same.. The phone number that showed up on my bank account is 1-800-870-0515 and this is the actual number because I have everything canceled and my money back. Thankfully.
