Clickbank Code Review

The Clickbank Code launched on May 14th, 2009 and it’s angering many Commission Blueprint customers.

Commission Blueprint customers claim that the course material inside The Clickbank Code is a blatant rip-off.  Michael Jones, the creator of The Clickbank Code, claims his “techniques have never been seen before on Clickbank, and that’s why they’re so effective…”

One wonders how Mr. Jones can be certain his techniques have never been used on Clickbank since he claims to be a Clickbank newbie.  One thing is for certain however…

there are undeniable similarities between The Clickbank Code and Commission Blueprint course content.  The Clickbank Code’s Powerpoint slides contain the exact same bullet points and concepts throughout.  It’s not in isolated incidences either.

The author also narrates using the very words Commission Blueprint owner Steven Clayton uses.  The odds that Michael Jones happening to stumble across the exact same system, then put it together in the exact same style as a course already out there using the same slides and narration is not only unlikely, it’s statistically improbable.

Many online beginners may unknowingly purchase The Clickbank Code without realizing that a higher quality product not only exists, but is responsible for deriving the information inside The Clickbank Code.

In other words, Clickbank Code customers are getting a cheap imitation of an already best-selling product and they may not even realize it.  Many of the claims on Michael Jones’ sales page are bold-faced lies.  The Clickbank Code course content is not unique, brand new, or a hidden secret.  It is the same material that has been done and offers no real value other than to make the author a middleman so he can profit.

I don’t like to be the one to burst people’s bubbles.  I wanted to write an in-depth review of The Clickbank Code’s sales page and scrutinize each claim of Michael Jones.  All too often, the hype on sales pages is so thick you can cut it with a knife.

I’d like to trim some of that hype away and expose some truth that lies beneath with this article.  Let’s begin.

Claim #1

“Clickbank Newbie Cracks The Code”

Comments:  Michael Jones is no newbie at all.  He may be new to Clickbank (who knows).  Just so you know, he’s launched several products such as The Adwords Code, The Ebay Code, and Torrential Traffic Tactics.  Don’t be mislead into thinking that Michael Jones is some newbie that just showed to Clickbank and uncovered secret Clickbank tactics never seen before.

Claim #2

“And now he’s breaking his silence to show you how to do the same…”

Comments:  As mentioned above, when Michael Jones has a new product, he doesn’t keep it a secret.  His whole purpose is not to share private secrets with you, it’s to launch products and sell systems.  I guarantee you he had no intentions of keeping The Clickbank Code silent.  He didn’t even create it!  It’s rehashed.

Claim #3

“Making money from Clickbank is easy.  Actually, wait, it’s beyond that. It’s super easy.  It’s so easy I could train my dog to do it.”

Comments:  This is a sucker’s line.  Making money online is hard work.  Don’t ever trust when somebody tells you something is easy.  If it was easy, everybody would have it figured out and wouldn’t need courses to help them.

Claim #4

“I mean, I’d had some success online in the past, and I thought I was finally ready”

Comments:  He’s downplaying his level of success so you think he’s some average Joe.  Lie.

Claim #5

Boy, they were some ugly templates…

Comments:  That part’s true… Clickbank has some seriously ugly landing pages.

Claim #6

“… and fired up a couple of Adwords campaigns…”  and “I figured I’d put a couple hours in, may as well give it a fair shot…”

Comments:  His idea of putting in a couple of hours consists of bidding on generic keywords that are going to cost you $1 – $2 per click.  Anybody experienced Adwords expert knows that you don’t just throw together Adwords campaigns so easy peasy-like.  He’s claiming he picked out a few products, created landing pages (for each ad group), for each campaign, and then set up his Adwords campaign in a few hours time?  Hardly.

Claim #7

Comments:  Yes, it’s compelling.  Question for you – How much did he spend on advertising?  I’m sorry… how much?  Oh you’re right.  We don’t know.  Give someone $200,000 to spend and they could surly bring in $100,000 in Clickbank commissions in a month.  Except, they’d lose $100,000.  We know he’s rehashed Commission Blueprint materials.  That’s a fact.  There’s no disputing that.  So how can you trust anything else he says?

Claim #8

“every Clickbank affiliate is dropping the ball with their landing pages.”

Comments:  I think it would be a great test to see who could make more money from Clickbank in a given month.  Steven Clayton from Commission Blueprint or Michael Jones from The Clickbank Code.  A controlled experiment.

Claim #9

Almost everyone has the wrong idea about affiliate marketing. Think about it……just about everyone gets their marketing skills from IM products. I’ll bet you’ve bought a few of them yourself, haven’t you?  I know I have.

Comments:   (I guarantee you he bought Commission Blueprint…)

Claim #10

“You’ve probably also realised that a lot of the time these products – especially ones put out by the so-called gurus – don’t quite give you the whole story.”

Comments:  The Clickbank Code leaves you with MANY unanswered questions.  Michael Jones does NOT give you the whole story.  He doesn’t take you through an example of setting up a landing page, what it looks like, and the entire process.  Instead, he tells you the process through Powerpoint slides.  If you buy The Clickbank Code, you won’t get the entire story so don’t believe it. In fact, you really are own after getting his vague instructions.

Claim #11

“Most affiliates are using the same tired old techniques that make less money each day…”

Comments:  This may be true.  But realize, Michael Jones did not create the techniques in The Clickbank Code.  He’s a middleman that has stepped in to sell you a rehashed version of Commission Blueprint.

Claim #12

“And that’s why I decided to give you a new map… “

Comments:  Yes, thank you Michael for giving me the map… or should I say “Blueprint”?

Claim #13

“I made notes, I made screen capture videos – I even made flowcharts to get the whole process down as clearly as I could…”

Comments:  Where are these screen capture videos?  So the secret to Clickbank and Adwords is Powerpoint presentations?  No wonder all these marketers are failing.  They aren’t using Powerpoint presentations with their Adwords campaigns like you show in the videos.  The secret is finally revealed.

On a serious note, there are no screen capture videos of Michael “in action” setting up a campaign.  He just talks in Powerpoint for 5 hours.

Claim #14

“Your hunt for something that takes you by the hand and guides you to financial independence is over…”

Comment:  I will say that The Clickbank Code was very well structured.  Mr. Jones did explain in better detail what the rules to manage campaigns are.  This subject seemed a little confusing in Commission Blueprint and Micheal Jones really expanded on it to make it more easily understandable.

Don’t think I’m completely against The Clickbank Code.  I do suggest it for complete beginners that have never seen Commission Blueprint before and for clear and concise educational materials.

Claim #15

“That means my techniques and system are fresh, and hyper-effective. I’m not going to be revealing tired techniques about loopholes”

Comments:  That’s a lie.  Do you know what the statistical probability of Michael Jones coming up with a course that’s exactly like Commission Blueprint without knowing about Commission Blueprint is?  It’s incalculable.  To make almost the exact same slides, to have the EXACT same set of Adwords rules, to say the exact same things as the Commission Blueprint creator during the presentation… it’s simply improbable.

Claim #16

“These techniques have never been seen before on Clickbank, and that’s why they’re so effective… “

Comments:  That’s a lie.

I think I’ve said what I wanted to say about The Clickbank Code sales page.

If you want a real tip, here’s how you pick a Clickbank product.

Find products that you’re interested in personally.  Read the sales page completely and see if you develop an urge to buy.  If you do, then others will likely feel the same way.  There’s your product to promote.  Now get started.

I found this video on Youtube and can really relate to what the guy.  He was struggling like a lot of people and Commission Blueprint changed this dude’s life.  There are countless stories out there similar to this one but I just wanted to post it to show you that average ordinary people that are struggling as an affiliate usually hit a turning point when they encounter Commission Blueprint.

 

Give Commission Blueprint a try for $4.95.  You’ll be glad you did.

 

Here’s just an interesting video I ran across.  The product is called PPC Ninja.  Why does it seem like product creators are naming their product after martial arts more and more?  The take-away from this video is that this guy is using direct linking and PPC.  This should give you a few great ideas.  The Clickbank Code and Commission Blueprint concepts are centered around setting up a domain, creating a landing page, and driving traffic to this landing page preping the user to go to the offer page.

This concept cuts out the need to buy a domain and landing page and just sends the searcher right to the offer.  Check it out.

Check this video out and realize that Steven Clayton is a doer.  He doesn’t just talk the talk, he walks the walk.  The Clickbank Code author does a lot of talking but doesn’t show you how he actually generated the sales you see in his Clickbank account.

I wouldn’t trust a word he says personally.

Learn from those that DO, not those that talk.  Understand that these commissions that Steve was able to attain came from consumer goods.  That means that they were not internet marketing-related.  Just think for a minute how many consumer products there are on Clickbank right now.

I’ve looked at EVERY SINGLE PRODUCT on Clickbank and I’ve managed to narrow Clickbank down to the following primary types of products:

This could get the juices flowing as to how many consumer products there are out there.

It’s a level playing ground for all.  Everybody can choose which products to promote.  What separates you from Steven Clayton is marketing knowledge and he reveals all of that to you in Commission Blueprint.  So really, it just comes down to your ability to successfully implement campaigns and your willingness to learn from your mistakes.

Plus, in case you don’t know, there’s a product called Keyword Spy that allows you to look at other successful Adwords marketers campaigns, their landing pages, their exact keywords, their ads, the whole works.  If you are going to attack the concept of using Adwords in conjunction with Clickbank, you might consider Keyword Spy because instead of doing your own keyword testing and spending money to get clicks on keywords that may or may not be profitable, you can simple go in Keyword Spy, grab the profitable keywords, look at how the super-affiliate’s landing page is structured, try and unravel the effective marketing tactics, then build yourself a page with similar elements.

All that’s left is to send traffic to the keywords that you know work.  The idea is to build a model using someone else’s research.  Chances are, they have done all the testing and tweaking of their campaigns and have figured out what works and what doesn’t.  Keyword Spy is worth looking in to but carries a hefty monthly membership fee.

I want to STRESS that this wasn’t a one-time occurrence or coincidence either.  I’m not showing you one point where there were similarities and trying to make it seem like they are similar. In each module, The Clickbank Code creator Michael Jones uses the EXACT same wording that Steven Clayton does in Commission Blueprint.

This is not an isolated incident.  It’s this way throughout the entire course.

The Clickbank Code creator literally copied the Commission Blueprint material – everything from the slides to the actual words used when narrating!  It’s disgusting, it’s appalling, it’s shameful, just see for yourself and make up your own mind.

 

There are also huge drawbacks to The Clickbank Code.  People that buy The Clickbank Code will probably feel like it is a quality product.

The people that think this have NOT seen Commission Blueprint.  It’s very unfortunate because if you watch The Clickbank Code and go out to try and implement it, chances are, you’re going to be asking a lot of questions that Michael Jones did not cover.

Michael Jones narrates 99% of The Clickbank Code with Powerpoint slides and that’s NO way to learn affiliate marketing.  You learn by seeing what you need to do right there before your eyes.  This isn’t something that someone can tell you and you just pick up and know immediately.

You need to be shown, and Micheal Jones and The Clickbank Code shows you NOTHING.

Commission Blueprint DOES show you how to use Excel to track your campaigns, how to manage your Adwords accounts, the rules and parameters to live by in your campaigns, and so much more.

I’m telling you, don’t waste your money on The Clickbank Code and get Commission Blueprint if you’re serious about learning.  They have a 7-day trial for $4.95 (which goes to charity) and try it for a month.

I saw The Clickbank Code on Clickbank right when it first came out.  When I looked at the sales page, I thought to myself “OK, this is going to be BIG.”  At this point, I hadn’t bought the product or even really knew what it was about.  I just saw the flashy sales page and knew that The Clickbank Code was going to be the next big Clickbank hit.

After buying Clickbank Code Review .com I decided to buy The Clickbank Code to learn a few things and understand what The Clickbank Code was all about.  That way, I could give it a fair, honest, and unbiased review.

At this point, I think I should mention that I’m not your typical marketer.  I’ve been burned in the past by home business ventures, online scams, and pretty much anything else you can think of.  How some of these guys sleep at night is anybody’s guess.

Chances are, you’re looking for truth, honesty, and the real low-down on The Clickbank Code review… but you won’t find it.  Not on somebody else’s site that’s for sure.  I can confidently say that The Clickbank Code is nothing more than a cheap replica of Commission Blueprint.

In Commission Blueprint, the creator of the product walks you through each step and he shows you HOW he does keyword tracking in Excel and the whole nine yards.  Commission Blueprint is MUCH more comprehensive than The Clickbank Code.

The Clickbank Code is a joke!

Michael Jones does nothing more than use PowerPoint slides and narrate.  That’s it!  Do you have any idea how much information he leaves out that’s pretty technical and requires more explanation?

With Commission Blueprint, Steven Clayton literally shows you HOW.  I swear, when you get done reviewing Commission Blueprint the full first-time through, it will be like someone has given you a key to unlock your financial freedom.

When you get done with The Clickbank Code, I’m sure people are scratching their heads in confusion due to the vagueness of the author.  The Clickbank Code is vague for a reason.  Michael Jones did not come up with the ideas.  He plagiarized them from Commission Blueprint.

Look.  I own Clickbank Code Review .com .  If I wanted to, I could write about how great The Clickbank Code is, get a lot of people to go and buy it, and make decent commissions.

I’m not doing that because I’d hate to see you get ripped off.  I predict that The Clickbank Code will have a high return rate as well so what’s the point.

It’s like somebody telling you a watch is a Rolex and you find out later that it’s nothing more than a cheap imitation.  Well that’s what The Clickbank Code is… a cheap imitation of one of the best selling and most valuable and most informative products out there…

Commission Blueprint.

Commission Blueprint is FAR better than The Clickbank Code in my opinion and here’s why.

The Clickbank Code is so completely vague.  Michael Jones doesn’t show you how to actually track your keywords… he just talks about it.  What Michael Jones has done is essentially copy the dialogue of Steven Clayton from Commission Blueprints VERBATIM and is now pawning it off as his own.  It’s plagiarism.

I hope everyone shuns Michael Jones after this sorry excuse for a product that he has put out.  I’m talking with people that have never seen Commission Blueprint and think The Clickbank Code is great.  Sadly, they don’t have a clue as to the information they’re missing out on.

 

 

Steven Clayton shows you on his screen how to properly track keywords, how to set up campaigns, and how to choose the right domain names and keywords.  He’s a true super-affiliate that accomplished his success using Clickbank and Adwords – that’s it!

Michael Jones is nothing more than a poser and I’m not convinced that he makes a profit at all using Clickbank.  How much money did he spend to attain the sales in his Clickbank account as seen in his video?  Who knows.

Look.  I’m telling you right now – straight from Clickbank Code Review – Don’t buy The Clickbank Code. I bought this domain to PROMOTE The Clickbank Code but after actually seeing The Clickbank Code first hand, I was so utterly disappointed that I’d rather guide you to quality products worth buying than pure crap that will rip you off.

I also want you to trust me and my genuine recommendations.  You’ll see that I won’t steer you wrong.

Get real value for your money and take Commission Blueprint up on their 7-day $4.95 trial and soak in the information that will shave years off your learning curve as an affiliate marketer.  Furthermore, the $4.95 that you spend on the trial goes to charity, not in the pockets of the creators.

Get your information from the horses mouth, not a middleman peddling a copycat second-rate system.

Go With Commission Blueprint.  You can learn all the information in a week’s time.  They’ve even expanded the tools and training that they have to offer.  It’s just an insane deal and you need to check it out if you haven’t already.

I’d also like to throw in here that another course that I got sooooo much value out of was The Mini Site Formula by Joel Peterson.  His system is the most ETHICAL and HONEST system on the market today.  If you want a truly genuine system to create long-term wealth, I give The Mini Site Formula my highest recommendation above everything out there.

When you buy The Clickbank Code, you will get two bonuses for free – Twitter Treasure Chest and Niche Navigator.  I have to say that I haven’t had time to check out these bonuses.  I see a lot of affiliates propositioning on their website that if you buy from them using their link, they’ll throw in two Clickbank Code bonus gifts exclusively to you.

Wouldn’t you know it, the bonus gifts they want to give you are the very same bonus gifts that come with The Clickbank Code when you buy it!  That just shows you how completely unoriginal and thoughtless some affiliate marketers can be.  I feel bad for people that fall for it, although they shouldn’t because you can see clear as day that the bonus gifts are on The Clickbank Code sales page.

I saw a video the other day of some affiliate marketer taking 80 pages from a newly released ebook and posting those 80 pages LIVE on the internet AS HIS MARKETING STRATEGY!  He did this without the author’s permission.  The author needless to say was angry and told the affiliate that he had to remove it.

What’s even more pathetic is that the affiliate bragged about being contacted by this big-named author – as if the author was contacting him to have a personal chat or something!  I swear some people are morons.

If you’re a new person thinking about buying The Clickbank Code and you see BONUS or a lot of bonuses in someone’s offer, listen real carefully.  Most of the people I talk to never get around to reading the bonuses.  Plus, most of the bonuses that you see are pure private label rights crap that you can get for free on the internet.

To the customer it looks like “Wow, I will get all these free bonus gifts if I buy from this person.”  The fact is, I could list

a thousand bonus gifts a mile long for you of pure crap products that are old and outdated and claim they are worth thousands of dollars.

The Clickbank Code is a total scam!  Michael Jones ripped off Commission Blueprint material, rehashed it, and is now claiming it as his own!  This is a warning to those people out there that are Commission Blueprint members.  The narrator steals the very words from Commission Blueprint creator Steve Clayton and Tim Godfrey.

I swear I was so angry when I bought The Clickbank Code.  How can Michael Jones get away with such plagiarism?  Can anyone out there go and copy the same course and re-narrate it in their own voice and make money?  If that’s the case, I might as well copy The Mini Site Formula and put it on Clickbank to cash in!

What the hell is this?  Can anyone explain to me how this is possible?  Michael Jones doens’t even know how to do keyword research correctly!  Such a disgrace.  If you want to make real money online but don’t want a copycat system, you should check out Commission Blueprint, NOT The Scam Clickbank Code.  Commission Blueprint is where the real money is at.

Seriously, when I was watching The Clickbank Code, I wanted to smash my monitor after spending $77!
