I’ve seen a lot of alleged website calculators that are supposed to tell you what a given website is worth.  The simple fact of the matter is that a website is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.  It’s all about the perceived value and the future growth potential.

With that said, I’d like to share with you my favorite website calculator.  Is it accurate?  Probably not but it’s the best I’ve seen of the many that are online.  It uses Google Trends data, Alexa data, Quantcast data, provides Whois data, estimates what the monthly server costs are and how many servers the site has, and a lot more.

I find it useful for gathering ball-park information about sites.

I’m not a writer.  Well, OK, I do have a blog and I do write in it but I hate writing in general.  I know a lot of internet marketers out there like to use article marketing as a primary source of traffic.

For those of you not familiar with article marketing, the big advantage to writting articles is that you get a signature section when you write an article.  In that signature section you can link to your website (perhaps) but the link cannot be a direct affiliate link to some product or service.

Many article pros reap tons of free website traffic using articles.  They do have to go through the submission process and some may get rejected (I know mine sure did).

So where does an article spinner come into play and what is an article spinner anyways?

An article spinner helps you take one article you’ve written and essentially re-write it multiple different ways using different words and blocks of words.  The reason you want many different versions of the same article is that you can submit all different versions to article directories.

The general rule of thumb is that you don’t want to submit the same article to a ton of different article directories.  Why?  The talk from other marketers is that the search engine spiders can recognize that it’s duplicate content pointing back to your site and therefore make the back-link in your signature “less powerful.”

Do I know if this is true?  I’ve never tested it.

But, spinning one article multiple different ways and submitting will help you avoid the duplicate content penalty (if there even is one).  In my opinion, the duplicate content penalty is like an old wives tale.  Think about it – people have tons of product feeds out there and many people trackback and even take the same articles and paste them onto their sites.  Their sites still get ranked with duplicate content.

Anyways, enough of my tangent.

I don’t endorse many things.  In fact I’m very jaded when it comes to internet marketing or affiliate marketing.  I’m at a point where I don’t even bother reading a sales page.  They all say the same thing and try to convince you that whatever product or service they’re selling is the end of the golden rainbow.

Well I was just browsing around on the internet and I came across a video of a guy that I could really relate to.  I don’t know him, I don’t have a joint venture with him, he just seems like he would be a good guy to get to know or to work with.  You may find his blog worth reading.

Check out Steve Clayton presenting Keyword Blueprint 2.0.  Apparently him and his development team have created their own keyword research tool.  It looks like it uses Google keyword data which may or may not be good.  No doubt – Google gives you the highest volume keywords but they also give you the most expensive.

Bottom line: the Keyword Blueprint 2.0 tool is guaranteed to be highly useful.

Is Postcard Profits real?  This course is created by Luke Jaten.  I have personally bought this course and have spoke with Luke Jaten personally.  Postcard Profits is a legitimate course and is one I would recommend IF you are considering selling a product of your own.  You will also need some starting capital (about $500) to get this thing off the ground.

Luke Jaten and Postcard Profits will teach you an 8-step system that you can use to make money.  It’s a pretty good course.  Luke will Fed-Ex you a check out of his own pocket if you can’t make money from his system.  Plus, you can get Postcard Profits FREE for 30 days.  All you have to do is pay the shipping and handling.

Think I’m lying?

GOOD!  Be skeptical.  Most courses out there are complete crap.  Let’s be honest.  Luke is a real person that shoots straight with you.  If his system is full of crap, you can return his product.  You can get the postcard profits audio course and try it out risk-free for 30-days.

Do your homework though.  Look around on the internet and you will discover their are two problems with his course: 1. the product has been delivery issues – Takes a long time to get there or never shows up and 2. It costs a good chunk of change – $300.  That $300 can be broken down in payments though.  The content in Postcard Profits is top-notch and well-received because it will work if you do what Luke Jaten says.  I only wished it wasn’t JUST audio CDs.  I expected it to be videos and training materials but it’s just audio CDs.

Luke used to be a carpet cleaner.  He’s a normal guy like you and I.  The only difference is, he discovered a method to make guru-sized money without selling his soul.  No BS, no fluff.  Check out Luke Jaten’s Postcard Profits RIGHT NOW.  I am NOT an affiliate of this course and I gain NOTHING if you do decide to buy it.

This post is for newbies and beginner internet marketers that want to know how to make money online.

Commission Blueprint Version 2.0 is coming out soon.  If you want to make money online heres what you need to do:

1. First, understand that this will be a HUGE product launch.  The first thing to do RIGHT NOW is to start building a website using Wordpress.  Go find a great domain name that contains the words “Commission Blueprint” and something that indicates Version 2.0
2. Install Wordpress on that domain in the root folder so when someone goes to your domain they will see the Wordpress page.
3. Find a great Wordpress theme.  They’re free and ALL OVER!
4. Install StatCounter on your site for web analytics.  It’s free for the first 500 visitors.
5. Now that Wordpress is set up, it’s time to start writing.  WRITE EVERYTHING you can think of that has to do with Commission Blueprint Version 2.0.  Ask yourself, what will people want to know about it?  What are some of the questions they will ask?  The goal is to write just about every possible topic you can.
6. Make 1-3 posts PER DAY for 2 weeks straight.  After that, drop it down to 1 post every day or every two days.  The goal is to build quality content on your site that only pertains to Commission Blueprint 2.0.
7. Make a video of you actually purchasing Commission Blueprint 2.0 and show others what they will get if they too purchase it.  People love to see what’s on the other side of the payment button.  They want to know what they will get for their money.
8. Backlink!  Backlinking is essential to getting ranked in the search engines!  If nobody’s linking to you, you will have a low search engine ranking.  Some backlinks are “no follow” which aren’t very good but still are better than nothing.  Comment on blogs, put the link in your signature on forums, start article marketing to Ezine Articles and Go Articles (and more if you choose), and put it on your social networking sites you may be apart of.
9. Use social bookmarking to bookmark your site to the popular sites like Stumble upon and many others.

Eventually, organic traffic will start to come.  People will look for Commission Blueprint reviews, scams, bonuses, and just about anything you can imagine.  Here’s a few ways people have found my site:

You can make a great income if you put the work in once and stick with it.  This is a great way to start affiliate marketing.  I strongly suggest you give an HONEST review though.  Don’t be like 99% of the affiliates out there that will say every product is great just so they can make a commission.  Those sites all look the same and are completely see-through.  Connect with people.  Talk about your own struggles as an internet/affiliate marketer.  Be a human, not a salesman.

People that buy The Clickbank Code may never realize that most of the content presented by the author Michael Jones is not new at all. In fact, most of the material is undeniably similar to the content within the best-selling Clickbank product entitled Commission Blueprint.

Many customers of Commission Blueprint contest that Mr. Jones’ product is a scam whereas others that purchase the product without knowledge of Commission Blueprint may embrace it. Affiliate marketers with a “vested interest” will tell you that Michael Jones’ product is not a scam and then point you in the direction of their nearest affiliate link. A lot of “reviews” are out there, it’s hard to get a straight answer without the sales pitch.

If you’re brand new to the concept of online businesses, I caution you to resist getting drawn into so-called reviews because most of them will tell you that the product is great, it worked for them and it will work for you. Chances are, you’re sitting there low on money, perhaps desperately looking for legitimate ways to make money online, and you don’t know where to invest your limited resources.

Well, It’s my opinion that Clickbank Code is not worth your hard-earned dollars especially when Commission Blueprint offers much higher quality material. I don’t recommend beginners buy Mr. Jones’ product because it will leave them with a lot of unanswered questions in the end. Comparatively, Steven Clayton’s product shows you how to set up AdWords campaigns, select the right keywords, test landing pages, and much more whereas the product in question uses PowerPoint slides 99% of the time and the author simply narrates.

He does not guide you through setting up a landing page, he picks very generic keywords that would cost a fortune to bid on, and he is very vague about how to go about tracking your keywords (which is a complex process). These neglected issues will undoubtedly leave customers stranded with a lot of unanswered questions.
